Reactions have been trailing the alleged killing of a pregnant woman by a policeman at the Ogun Waterside area of Ogun state.

Earlier reports said a commercial motorcyclist, who was conveying the pregnant woman to hospital for delivery, was stopped at a checkpoint by policemen attached to the Ibiade Police Station, after which the victim was allegedly hit in the head with a torch by one of the policemen.

The Chairman of Ogun Waterside Local Government, FEMI ONANUGA, who spoke with Super FM News, gave an account of the incident.                                    

The Ogun state police command has also debunked the allegation. The state Police Public Relations Officer, ABIMBOLA OYEYEMI made this known in an exclusive interview with Super FM News.
