A new Commissioner of Police, EDWARD AJOGUN, has been posted to the Ogun State Police Command, following the retirement of the incumbent Commissioner of Police, KENNETH EMBRIMSON.

A statement by the state Police Public Relations Officer, ABIMBOLA OYEYEMI, read that the new Commissioner of Police was a graduate of Political Science, from the University of Ibadan.

According to the statement, the new Commissioner joined the Nigeria Police Force as a Cadet Assistant Superintendent of police in 1988, and has worked in various capacities in the Police Force.
