The Ogun State Ministry of Agriculture has embarked on market monitoring to ascertain the level of compliance to directives on social distancing.

The State Commissioner for Agriculture, ADEOLA ODEDINA, who monitored the social distancing compliance of traders at the Farmers’ Market at Asero, Abeokuta, says the exercise was necessary in order to dissuade traders from clustering.

The Commissioner expressed satisfaction with the level of compliance in the market, where wash hand basins, soap and disinfectants points were strategically located in different parts of the market.
