Nigeria has received an additional 300,000 doses of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccines.
The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, BOSS MUSTAPHA, disclosed this at the briefing of the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on covid-19 in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
He noted that the vaccines were donated to the government by a telecommunications firm and called on other partners to contribute towards the fight against coronavirus in the country.
Meanwhile, Executive Director of the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) says a total number of 122,410 people have received the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine across the country.
