The newly-appointed Chief of Army Staff Major General FAROUK YAHAYA has officially resumed duties.

Major General YAHAYA was yesterday appointed as the Army Chief by President MUHMAMADU BUHARI, after the demise of Lieutenant General IBRAHIM ATTAHIRU.

Meanwhile, the Chief of Defence Staff, General LUCKY IRABOR while hosting the new Chief of Army staff at the Defence Headquarters, urged him to build on the legacy of his predecessor.
