The Nigeria Football Federation NFF says it will no longer tolerate breaches of covid-19 safety protocols by clubs or match officials.
The NFF Emergency Committee disclosed this in a communique issued at the end of its meeting held via video conference.
The emergency committee directed the League Management Company to ensure strict application of the provisions of the rules in the recent breach of safety protocols in the NPFL Match Day 27 involving Kano Pillars and Akwa United.
The committee also instructed the NFF Disciplinary Committee to deliberate on recent cases of matches including the game between FC Ifeanyi Ubah and MFM FC; the NNL match, Remo Stars Vs Bendel Insurance FC among others, by latest Thursday.
