The New Zealand government says it has stopped community transmission of the corona virus.
Prime Minister JACINDA ARDERN said with new cases in single figures for several days, with only 1 case one on Sunday, the virus was effectively eliminated in the country.
However, government officials warned against complacency, saying it does not mean a total end to new corona virus cases.
From Tuesday, some non-essential business, healthcare and education activity will be able to resume.
