The Governing Board of the National Examinations Council (NECO) has approved the appointment of EBIKIBINA OGBORODI as the acting Registrar and Chief Executive of the council.

The Head of Information and Public Relations of NECO, AZEEZ SANI, announced this in a statement issued in Niger State.

The appointment followed the death of the former Registrar, Professor GODSWILL OBIOMA who passed away on Tuesday, June 1.

Until his appointment, OGBORODI was the Director of Special Duties at the council.
