NCDC: CURFEW TO HELP EASE BURDEN ON HEALTH WORKERS

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) says the curfew imposed in Abuja, Lagos and Ogun States by President MUHAMMADU BUHARI will help to ease the burden on health workers monitoring suspected cases who had contact with confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the country.

The Director-General of NCDC, DR CHIKWE IHEKWEAZU disclosed this on a monitored programme today.

He said the restriction of movement will enable reaching the contacts, keeping them at home, making sure they are supported and buy some time to get ahead of the case.
