The management of the National Assembly has shut down the House of Representatives Complex for a routine fumigation exercise.

Staff of the house are expected to stay away from the complex During the two-day exercise.

They've been directed to resume normal duties on Monday June 22, but it is still not clear if scheduled House committee functions will go ahead or not. 

It is also not known if the exercise has anything to do with COVID-19 pandemic.
