The Mayor of London, SADIQ KHAN wants the government to change its guidelines on face masks, saying wearing them while travelling in the city should be compulsory.

KHAN said evidence around the world shows that the move is effective.

United Kingdom public health experts are not currently recommending the use of face-coverings though they have already been made compulsory in many places around the world.
