Malawi has reported its first three confirmed cases of the corona virus.

The southern African nation was among the few African countries that were yet to report corona virus cases along with Lesotho, Comoros, South Sudan and São Tomé and Príncipe.

President PETER MUTHARIKA, who made the announcement, said the three cases were in the capital, Lilongwe.
