Members of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria, PENGASSEN have commenced a three-day warning strike.
The petroleum workers downed tools at the Abuja headquarters of the Federal Ministry of Petroleum Resources in protest against the non-payment of their salaries for the past three months.
The strike was also embarked upon by PENGASSAN to kick against the Federal Government’s inclusion of its members in the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information system.
