The Senate of the Lagos State University has appointed Professor DAMOLA OKE as the acting vice-chancellor of the institution.

Professor OKE who was appointed at an emergency senate meeting held today, was before now the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Administration.

The Lagos State Governor and Visitor to the university, BABAJIDE SANWO-OLU, had earlier canceled the ongoing process set up for the appointment of a substantive ninth Vice-Chancellor of the University.
