Lebanon's Foreign Minister NASSIF HITTI has submitted his resignation to Prime Minister HASSAN DIAB, saying the country risked becoming a failed state and the government showed a lack of reformist will.
In his resignation letter, HITTI expressed disapproval at the absence of a vision for Lebanon and the absence of a real will to achieve structural reforms which the society asks for.
The letter also criticized Hezbollah, a major ally of Prime Minister DIAB’s government, by calling for Lebanon to strengthen its ties with the Arab community.
