The Lagos State Government has presented cheques as financial assistance to 177 households in an ongoing effort to support vulnerable individuals and families.

The Special Adviser, Office of Political, Legislative and Civic Engagement, Dr TAJUDEEN AFOLABI, said it was to assist indigent Lagosians facing one challenge or the other.

He further revealed that the presentation of cheques to the beneficiaries was the first of its kind in the state and featured the largest number of beneficiaries in the history of Lagos State.

He said the beneficiaries should see the gesture as a form of palliative measure from the Lagos State Government to the citizens across the 20 local government areas and 37 local council development areas of the state.
