The Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Professor AKIN ABAYOMI, has recovered from coronavirus.

The Lagos State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, GBENGA OMOTOSHO, made this known today.

OMOTOSHO while, announcing Professor ABAYOMI’s recovery, tweeted that following the mandatory isolation, the Commissioner retook a COVID-19 PCR test which returned negative.

OMOTOSHO added that Professor ABAYOMI will be returning to his full duties gradually and remains resolute in delivering the mandate of Governor BABAJIDE SANWO-OLU, whom he says stood by him steadfastly in the trying times.
