A former Commissioner for Home Affairs in Lagos State, HAKEEM ABDUL LATEEF, has resigned his membership of the All Progressives Congress APC.
In his Independence Day message, ABDUL LATEEF said his decision to resign was due to the rejection of his movement and governorship ambition by some close leaders he respected in the party.
The former lawmaker also launched a movement to galvanize Lagosians to develop more interest in politics and curb voter’s apathy.
His resignation from the APC led to the termination of his appointment as the Special Adviser to the Speaker, Lagos State House of Assembly on Religious Affairs.
