Kenyan President UHURU KENYATTA has announced a phased reopening of the country’s economy after almost four months of lockdown.
President KENYATTA lifted travel restrictions in and out of Nairobi, Mombasa and Mandera, which are some of the regions with the highest corona virus cases.
The president also announced the resumption of local flights from July 15, with international flights to resume from August 1 with strict covid-19 protocols expected to be followed.
