The Kano State government says it has commenced fumigation and disinfestations of places its index case of corona virus visited in the state before testing positive.

Kano recorded its first case of corona virus through a 75-year-old retired civil servant and former ambassador who was said to have to traveled to Kaduna, Lagos and Abuja before returning to Kano where he attended a wedding ceremony, Juma’at Congregational prayer and also visited a private hospital in the state.

The Special Adviser to Kano state Governor on Media, SALIHU YAKASAI confirmed the commencement of the fumigation and disinfection around the places in the state.
