Japanese Prime Minister SHINZO ABE says the country will offer a cash payment of 930 dollars to every resident as part of measures to contain the corona virus.

Abe, in a televised address says the government is moving quickly to deliver cash to all people while explaining his decision to expand a state of emergency nationwide.

Abe initially declared a state of emergency in seven regions of the country but expanded this to include the entire country.
