The Lagos State Government has declared Tuesday, August 20, as a work-free day for all public servants in the state as approved by Governor, BABAJIDE SANWO-OLU.
This was contained in a circular signed by the Head of Service, BODE AGORO.
Governor SANWO-OLU emphasized the states commitment to give necessary support to traditional institutions, as well as enhance the promotion of indigenous tradition by preserving cultural heritage.
Following the development, work would resume in all public offices including courts, across the state on Wednesday August 21.
