The Iraqi Parliament has approved a new government, with former intelligence chief MUSTAFA AL-KADHIMI sworn in as prime minister.

However, some political factions are still negotiating over the candidates for the key ministries of oil and foreign affairs, while lawmakers rejected his picks for trade, justice, culture, agriculture and migration.

KADHIMI after the inauguration said that the security, stability and blossoming of Iraq will be his path but he will not start his tenure with a full cabinet.
