The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) says it is working on a project to allow the electorate cast their votes online and decongest crowds at polling stations across the country.

The INEC National Commissioner and Chairman of Information and Voter Education Committee, FESTUS OKOYE disclosed this while featuring on a monitored programme.

FESTUS OKOYE however, did not give a specific timeframe as to when the online voting would be implemented.
