India has announced relaxed restrictions on farming, banking and public works, but transport services and most businesses remain closed a day after extending a nationwide lockdown.
The move which comes into effect on April 20 is expected to ease the supply chain and alleviate economic impact.
The lockdown which began on March 25 to contain the spread of the corona virus will now end on May 3.
India has reported 11,555 active cases and 396 deaths so far.
