The acting Inspector-General of Police (IGP), ALKALI USMAN says that the disbandment of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) created a vacuum in the efforts of the Police to tackle insecurity.

The acting IGP disclosed this at a press briefing organized by the Presidential Communications Team at the State House in Abuja.

According to the IGP, the aftermath of the #EndSARS protest equally reduced the morale of the officers of the force.
