Ogun State Governor, DAPO ABIODUN has requested for the downward review of the 2020 appropriation Bill from the initial 449.7Billion Naira to 280.9Billion Naira representing 38 percent decrease of the total budget due to the social economic effect poised by the outbreak of Corona Virus Pandemic .

This was contained in a Governor’s Correspondence sent to the House of Assembly read by the Speaker Hon. OLAKUNLE OLUOMO at the plenary held at the Assembly Complex, Oke Mosan Abeokuta.

The Speaker who read the letters before the lawmakers at the Plenary,   revealed that the revision of the State Budget was in alignment with fiscal realities occasioned by COVID-19 pandemic.
