Factional acting National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), VICTOR GIADOM, has urged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to disregard the governorship primary election in Edo State.

He made the appeal in a letter addressed to the INEC Chairman, Professor MAHMOOD YAKUBU.

GIADOM in the letter asked INEC not to give support to direct primary election conducted by a committee chaired by the Imo State Governor, HOPE UZODINMA.

He noted that a copy of the letter has been sent to the relevant law enforcement agencies and the APC chairman in the state loyal to his faction, ANSLEM OJEZUA.
