The Federal Government, through the Federal Electrification Agency and Ogun State Government has commissioned a 100 kilowatts peak solar hybrid Mini-Grid, at Olooji community in Ijebu-East Local Government Area of the State.
Speaking at the commissioning, the State Governor, DAPO ABIODUN said energy is a great tool and key to improve socio-economic growth.
He noted that industrial and commercial activities in the area would witness turnaround, as the present administration remained committed to providing affordable power in rural communities.
Governor ABIODUN who was represented by the Commissioner for Rural Development TAIWO OLUDOTUN, said the importance of electricity in promoting Micro, Small and Medium Scale Enterprises could not be underestimated.
