The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has ruled out the possibility of a further extension of the registration period for the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
In its latest bulletin published, it explained that the decision became necessary in view of the limited time available to conduct the examination.
JAMB had announced a two-week extension of the registration period on May 15 following a meeting with critical stakeholders, in response to the pressure from individuals and groups.
It, however, regretted that the number of registrants from the time of extension fell drastically until towards the new closing date.
Consequently, it asked all prospective candidates with genuine proof of failed efforts to register before the closing date to visit any of its offices, JAMB-owned Professional Test Centres for help between May 31 and June 15.
