The Lawmaker representing Oyo South Senatorial District, Senator KOLA BALOGUN has called on the Federal Government to grant the South West Security Network codenamed Amotekun the license to bear arms. 

SENATOR BALOGUN made the call while featuring on a monitored television programme.

The Senator said he was aware that the Amotekun personnel have requested that the Inspector-General of Police grant them the license to be well-equipped which will enable them to confront criminals.

His comments come after several clashes between herders and farmers in the southwest which has led to the loss of lives and properties.
