The Federal Government has concluded plans to evacuate about 270 Nigerians from the United States.

This was disclosed in a statement from the Consulate General of Nigeria in New York.

The consulate explained that a one-way flight has been arranged with an airline company with a 270-passenger capacity that would evacuate them at their expense.

Nigeria’s minister of Foreign Affairs, GEOFFERY ONYEMA gave more details of the evacuation at the daily briefing of the Presidential Task Force on Covid-19.
