The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, MOHAMMED BELLO has approved the extension of business hours for markets in the FCT.

BELLO’s directive will allow markets to be opened between 8 am and 3 pm on Wednesdays and Saturdays as against the earlier approved time of 10 am to 2 pm.

The minister also directed the decongestion of the existing markets through the establishment of Neighbourhood Selling Points in the various districts within the FCT by Abuja Markets Management Limited.
