The Speaker, Edo State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Blessing Agbebaku has inaugurated the committee on Arts, Culture and Tourism.

The Speaker who officiated the inauguration after the plenary, charged the committee to ensure they carry out their duties for the benefit of the people.

The Chairman of the committee and member representing Ovia Southwest constituency two, Honourable Destiny Enabulele during his remarks said the committee has began work in earnest in collaboration with the Ministry under it, to promote the rich cultural heritage of the state.

In her goodwill message, the Edo State Commissioner for Arts, Culture and Tourism, Uyi Malachi said she is ready to work together with the committee to achieve a common goal.

Other members of the committee include, honourable Omoseigho, Ibhamawu Jonathan, Fada Sunday, and Oshoma Ahmed.
