The Democratic Republic of Congo has announced a shutdown of the capital city, Kinshasa, from tomorrow to stop the spread of corona virus.
Governor of Kinshasa, GENTINY NGOBILA said all residents, apart from essential workers, would have to stay at home for four days, after which they would be allowed to stock up food in the following two days.
The same pattern is scheduled to be repeated for the next three weeks.
The country has confirmed 54 cases of the corona virus so far, all in the city of Kinshasa.
