The Court of Arbitration of Sports CAS has overturned Manchester City's two-year ban from European club competitions.

CAS announced that the clubs were cleared of disguising equity funds as sponsorship contribution.

European Football Body UEFA issued the ban in February after ruling that City had committed serious breaches of Financial Fair Play regulations between 2012 and 2016.

City in a statement said the CAS decision is a validation of the club's position and the body of evidence that it was able to present.
