The Confederation of African Football CAF says it is still prioritizing a January start for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, despite ongoing uncertainty about the continent's football because of the corona virus pandemic.

CAF Competitions Director, SAMSON ADAMU told newsmen that Cup of Nations is still planned for Cameroon from January 10 till February 8, 2021.

ADAMU however said that the tournament is subject to change as it is still being assessed with the final decision to be taken by the CAF Executive Committee soon.
