Aston Villa has signed England midfielder, ROSS BARKLEY from Chelsea on a season-long loan.

Barkley, who has 33 international caps, has been at Stamford Bridge since moving from Everton in January 2018.

Villa manager, DEAN SMITH said capturing a player of ROSS's quality is a real coup for the club and he is certain he will thrive in the club and improve the team.

BARKLEY left Everton following 179 appearances and 27 goals for the Villa.

He is the fifth major signing for Villa this summer.
