Southwest leaders in the All-Progressives Congress (APC) have endorsed the position of the 17 Southern governors taken at their summit in Asaba, Delta State.

They made their position known at a meeting convened by a former governor of Osun State, BISI AKANDE, in Lagos state.

The Southwest APC leaders recommended that the federal and state governments cooperate fully with each other to enact the necessary measures to encourage more effective and modern method of cattle-rearing.

The Southwest APC leaders also expressed strong opposition to statements that ignite division and undermine the unity of the country.
