The Federal Government has inaugurated the Special Visitation Panel to look into the crisis rocking the University of Lagos, following the removal of its Vice-Chancellor and the suspension of the Chairman of the University’s governing council.
The Minister of Education, ADAMU ADAMU, who inaugurated the panel on behalf of President MUHAMMADU BUHARI, warned the members against interfering in the activities of the university management.
The panel is headed by Professor TUKUR SA’AD, with other members of the panel including, VICTOR ONUOHA, Professor IKENNA ONYIDO, Professor EKANEM BRAIDE, Professor ADAMU USMAN, JIMOH BANKOLE and its Secretary, GRACE EKANEM.
The panel is expected to conclude its assignment and submit its report within two weeks.
