Omoluabi Movement Seeks Ooni Ogunwusi’s Blessings, Unveils 26 Buses Ahead of 2027 Elections

The Ogun State-based political movement, Omoluabi, led by Convener Armstrong ‘Tope Akintunde, paid a courtesy visit to the revered Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi at his palace in Ile-Ife, seeking royal blessings and guidance as the group gears up for the 2027 general elections.

During the visit on Sunday, the movement also unveiled 26 newly acquired buses to enhance its political mobilization across Ogun State. The delegation, including executive members, local government coordinators, and State Coordinator Hon. Olusegun Kaka, was warmly received by the monarch.

Akintunde described the Ooni as a father figure whose values inspired the movement’s name, emphasizing the importance of securing his blessings before embarking on the next political phase. “This journey we have embarked upon is aimed at supporting the second-term aspiration of our party’s national leader and President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in his re-election bid,” he said. He added that the movement was equally committed to backing all APC candidates in Ogun State.

The State Coordinator, Hon. Kaka, noted that the newly branded buses would boost grassroots mobilization and facilitate participation in the party’s forthcoming national convention in Abuja.

In response, the Ooni expressed joy at receiving the group, offering prayers for unity, growth, and success in their political endeavours.

Omoluabi has established itself as a fast-growing, grassroots-driven platform focused on leadership development, community engagement, and progressive governance in Ogun State. The unveiling of the buses signals the movement’s readiness and structured approach as it builds momentum toward the 2027 elections, reflecting resilience, strategic organization, and a people-centred vision under Akintunde’s leadership.
