President Bola Tinubu has extended heartfelt congratulations to former Vice President Mohammed Namadi Sambo on his 71st birthday, praising him as “a man of integrity and loyalty” dedicated to Nigeria’s unity and progress.
In his tribute, Tinubu highlighted Sambo’s notable leadership as Kaduna State governor and Vice President, emphasizing his ongoing contributions to religious tolerance, peace, and good governance, especially in collaboration with Kaduna’s current governor, Uba Sani.
The President also recognized Sambo’s regional influence, including leading ECOWAS election observation missions to Ghana, Niger, and beyond, underscoring his continued service to West African stability.
Tinubu wished Sambo good health and many more years of impactful service to Nigeria.
In a related message, President Tinubu congratulated Senator Aliyu Wadada Ahmed on his turbaning as Magajin Dangin Lafia by the Emir of Lafia, Justice Sidi Muhammad Bage (rtd). He praised Wadada’s dedication to public service, community development, and national unity, urging him to continue fostering peace and progress within Lafia, Nasarawa State, and Nigeria at large.
The President expressed confidence in Wadada’s ability to fulfill the responsibilities of his traditional title, wishing him wisdom, strength, and success.
