The Lagos State Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Dr. Oluyinka Olumide has urged Lagosians to report infractions anywhere in the state.

“Proper planning cannot be done without the support and contribution of people. This is why my doors are always open for residents of Lagos to make their complaints, report any observed untoward developments, and contribute generally to the sustainable development of the State,” he said in Alausa, Ikeja.

Whilst assuring the ministry’s readiness to discharge its regulatory roles without favour, he enjoined every Lagosian to work for sustainable Lagos by ensuring they escalate infractions as soon as they notice them.

The Commissioner added that Officers of the Ministry and its Agencies had been advised to remain conscientious and not support illegality, as any officer found culpable would be dealt with according to laid down rules and regulations.

Olumide said various avenues had been provided for the people to whistleblow, including through direct reports to his office.
