The Edo State House of Assembly has approved four hundred eighty-six billion naira as 2024 Revised supplementary budget. 

The approval sequel to the  request  for the   passage of the 2024 revised supplementary budget contained in  a letter dated 13th November from Edo state governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo for the continuous development of the state. 

Also, at plenary, the House confirmed Dr. Cyril Oshiomhole as commissioner for Health, following the house consideration of the report of the committee on Rules business and Government House in a letter from Governor Monday Okpebholo on Wednesday containing the name of the nominee.

Before Adjournment of plenary to Tuesday, The Speaker, Rt Hon Blessing Sheriff Agbebaku, appealed to the Edo State Police commissioner to curb the menace and incessant killings in the state .
