Representatives from the host community, regulatory agencies in the oil and gas sector, State Physical Planning officials, and members of the House Committee on Environment will collaborate to ensure compliance with all safety regulations before the company begins operations.

Chairman of the House Committee on Environment, Hon. Samsideen Lawal, emphasized the importance of involving all stakeholders in the construction and implementation of safety measures. Other lawmakers, including Assembly Minority Leader Lukman Adeleye, along with Honourables Adebisi Oyedele and Waliu Owode, urged the company to insure surrounding properties and adhere strictly to safety guidelines during the installation of its underground tank.

Community representatives expressed gratitude for the Assembly's proactive approach and pledged to collaborate with the gas company to maintain stringent safety protocols. In response, Dr. Patrick Ilo, the company's representative, commended the lawmakers for facilitating the discussion and committed to ongoing engagement with the community throughout the construction and installation processes.
