The Ogun State House of Assembly has successfully addressed ongoing issues related to the composition of the State Unified Trailers, Trucks Owners, and Drivers Association. This resolution came after Hon. Oluseun Adesanya presented the Transportation Committee's report, initially delivered by Chairman Wasiu Ayodele. Following a motion for adoption, which was seconded by Hon. Babatunde Tella, the entire House supported the decision through a voice vote.

The report highlighted the Assembly's meeting with representatives of the truck drivers and owners association to resolve a dispute stemming from a leadership conflict.

As a result, the Assembly concluded that a new State Executive should be formed through collaborative nominations from all involved unions. The Committee recommended that these unions work together to nominate a unified State Executive and report back to the House. The Committee's recommendations were commended for consideration to foster a peaceful resolution to the leadership struggle.
