Nigeria’s Enyimba International will take on defending champions Zamalek in the group stage of the CAF Confederations Cup for the 2024/25 season. They will also face fellow Egyptian side Al Masry and Black Bulls Maputo from Mozambique in Group D. Enyimba secured their spot in the group stage by defeating Etoile Filante of Burkina Faso 4-3 on penalties after two scoreless legs.

In other group stage news, the 2023 champions USMA Alger from Algeria will compete in Group C alongside ASEC Mimosas from Côte d’Ivoire, Jaraaf from Senegal, and Orapa United from Botswana.
