Nigerian striker VICTOR OSIMHEN provided an assist to help Galatasaray secure a 3-1 victory over Fenerbahce in the heated Istanbul derby.

This marked the Nigerian international’s second assist in as many games for the Turkish Super Lig champions.

OSIMHEN played a key role, setting up Dries Mertens for Galatasaray’s second goal in the 28th minute.

The forward featured for the entire match, while DOMINIK LIVAKOVIC’s own goal and GABRIEL SARA added to Galatasaray’s tally.

Fenerbahce’s lone goal came from a penalty, converted by EDIN DZEKO.

With this win, Galatasaray extended their lead at the top of the table to five points.
