The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has begun the distribution of sensitive materials for Saturday’s governorship election to the 18 local government areas of Edo state.
The distribution is supervised by the State Resident Electoral Commissioner, ONUOHA ANUGBUM at the premises of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Benin City, the state capital.
Correspondents gathered that the sensitive materials were carried out of the CBN vault, and INEC officials inspected them in the presence of party leaders and newsmen to ensure they were complete and intact.
All materials, ballot papers, and reporting forms are expected to reach all 18 Local Government Registration Area Centers, where Polling Officers will transport them to the Polling Units on Election Day.
