In a recent address to sports journalists at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba, Delta State, Hon. Wasiu Isiaka, the Commissioner for Sports Development, assured attendees that the upcoming National Sports Festival will feature improved facilities, aiming to be one of the best in the country's history.
He emphasized the festival's goal of fostering national unity, stating that all athletes and officials will be accommodated in a single location. Additionally, he announced that a robust transportation system will connect the three venues—Iperu, Ikenne, and Abeokuta—ensuring smooth movement for all participants.
